DRAFT LEAGUE

Pixelmon Stadium Draft League is a competitive format that mixes the structure of fantasy sports with Pokémon battling. Instead of every player having access to the same pool of Pokémon, players build exclusive rosters through a structured draft. Once a Pokémon is selected, no other player can draft it, which makes every team unique and adds a layer of strategy to both the draft and the matches that follow.

The draft follows a snake order. That means the order reverses each round: if you pick early in round one, you’ll pick later in round two, while the player who picked last in round one will pick first in round two. This system keeps things balanced and fair, preventing any one player from always having first choice. Players draft until their roster are filled.

Once the draft is complete, the season begins. Each week, teams are matched against a scheduled opponent. Unlike standard formats where you build for an open metagame, in a draft league you know exactly which Pokémon your opponent could bring, because they’re limited to their drafted roster. This makes weekly team building and preparation a central part of the competition.

Standings are tracked based on wins. The top teams qualify for playoffs, typically a single-elimination bracket, where the winner team is crowned league champions..
